After a one day turn around from the Dieppe tourney, Pownal was fired up and ready to take on North River Monday night. In the first there was lots of action in both ends, with Red Devils goalie Carson Gray making some key saves to keep the game scoreless.  With five seconds left in the first Noah Brehaut took a shot from the blue line that went in, with an assist from D-man Aidan Arsenault.
Beside the Pownal bench, two fans with matching hats and turtles cheered the team on, sometimes dancing in time with the music.

The second period saw a slew of penalties for both teams, with each one being killed off. Half way through the third North River put one as the intensity increased on both sides. Gray made a point blank save on a breakaway, and put his blocker and glove to good use throughout the game.

As the game wound down, the Pownal fans urged the team on. The players responded but weren't able to go ahead and the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Pownal had 21 shots on goal, while the visitors had 17. After the game, the young fans Melia and Jorgia has this to say, "We were cheering for the team. They played really good!" Outisde the dressing room, one of the coaches said it was a hard fought game by both teams. Gray left the dressing room with the hard hat. He said there were a lot of hard, high shots on him, but he was able to see them and get to them.
