Objectives for the season:

1. Initiation and novice coaches will follow Hockey Canada skills manual seasonal plan
2. Initiation and novice coaches will have an assigned mentor to consult with when/if needed.
3. Coach mentors will periodically attend on ice with their coaches to observe practices and offer suggestions if necessary.
4. AA and AAA teams will develop and submit a season plan specific for their team to Mentorship coordinator.  Feedback will be provided to those coaches on their plan.
5. Mentorship team will conduct up to four specialty clinics for coach development 

• Skating and puck control (Novice, Atom, and Peewee coaches) (Target date: October)
• Developing defensement (all coaches) (Target date: November)
• Creating offense (all coaches) (target date: November)
• Shooting and scoring (all coaches) (Target date: Early December)

6. Mentorship team available for any coach to consult with throughout the season.
