Red Devils Split Games

The Pownal Pee Wee AAA team split their two games last week. They lost to first place Summerside Capitals 4-1. Michael Gallant scored the lone goal for Pownal assisted by Wil MacDougall. Pownal outshot the Capitals 33-18 in the contest.

In their second game of the week Pownal defeated the Sherwood Falcons 10-1 . Michael Gallant lead the attack with a 4 goal performance. Cole Larkin and Riley MacDougall each  had 1 goal and 3 assists on the evening. Isaac Wilson had 1 goal 2 assists, Luke Garnhum had 2 goals, and Will MacDougall had 1 goal.  Other assists went to William Proud 2, Lucas Parsons 2, Sam MacNeill 2, and Thomas Docherty 1. Logan Birt earned the victory in nets.

Pownal has two more games this week, Wednesday at 6:20pm in Pownal versus Charlottetown and Saturday evening at 5:50pm in Slemon Park. 

The Red Devils will also take part in the Halliwell Consulting Shootout on Friday JAnuary 23rd at the Charlottetown Islanders QMJHL game at the Eastliink Arena.
