Red Devils pull out hard fought victory over CapsOn Tuesday, December 16th the Red Devils hit the road to square-off against the Capitals at the Plex. The Devils got out to a tentative start going down a goal by the end of the first. But through the second and third their hard-skating style of play and strong fore-check paid dividends with two quick goals from "the Kraken" and "Cogsy." Matthew "the Mayor" Arsenault was razor sharp when he needed to be, and the Devils' blue liners shut down the Summerside attack keeping the Caps scoreless in the final two periods of play. "Cogsy" sniped the insurance goal with a few minutes remaining in the 3rd leading to a final of 3-1 Pownal.
The Devils will put their undefeated regular season record on the line with two weekend games; Friday at home against Western and Saturday on the road against Charlottetown. Let's go Devils!
