Red Devils Down Falcons 7-5

The Pownal Pee Wee AAA Red Devils downed the Sherwood Falcons 7-5 on Wednesday evening in Pownal to improve to 3-1 on the season. The game got off to a fast start as Sherwood opened the scoring on the first shift of the game to take an early 1-0 lead.   The teams continued to exchange goals in the first, however, Pownal was able to grab a 3-2 lead after one . Sherwood evened the score in the second and the see saw battle was deadlocked at 3-3 after two. In the third, Pownal was able to tally four goals to eventually win the contest 7-5. Caleb Drake recorded the win in net for the Red Devils. Isaac Wilson led the charge offensively for Pownal with a 4 goal performance. Other Red Devil goal scorers were Riley MacDougall (2) and Luke Garnhum (1). Assists went to Cole Larkin (3), Cole McKeigan (2), Will MacDougall (2), William Proud (2), Michael Gallant (1), Jack Triantafillou (1), Chloe Hawes (1), Thomas Docherty (1), Lucas Parsons (1)

The Red Devils will practice twice this weekend before travelling to Crapaud to play the Mid-Isle Matrix at 7:10pm on Tuesday November 4th.
