 EVENT TAKES PLACE JANUARY 17 & 18This January 17 and 18 Charlottetown hockey fans will experience the ultimate hockey festival as Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour presented by Scotiabank and Dodge makes its stop in historic Charlottetown, with appearances by NHL Alumni and host Ron MacLean.
Confederation Landing Park will be the hub of the two-day hockey celebrations that will wrap up with an outdoor viewing party for the Rogers Hometown Hockey broadcast. The game will feature Arizona Coyotes vs. Winnipeg Jets with the pre-game show hosted live onsite by Ron MacLean from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio live from historic downtown Charlottetown.
The Rogers Hometown Hockey weekend promises to be a jam-packed weekend of interactive games, activities and entertainment for the whole family, celebrating all things hockey, including:
- Meet and greets with NHL Alumni, local hockey heroes and celebrities
- KidsZone with an inflatable mini-stick rink, face painting and bubble hockey
- Outdoor Viewing Parties on both Saturday (Hockey Night in Canada) and Sunday (Rogers Hometown Hockey)
- Interactive experiences inside the Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE Tech Truck
- Skills and drills competitions
- Ticket and merchandise giveaways

Cheer Like Never Before Contest
Leading up to the celebrations in Charlottetown, local hockey teams have an opportunity to win the ultimate hockey experience as part of the Cheer Like Never Before contest.
Teams can upload a video of their team cheer, with the Top 5 vote-getters invited to take part in the festivities when the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour visits Charlottetown on January 17 & 18. The winning team in each town will then be in the running to win the trip of a lifetime, including: a trip to an NHL game, VIP Game Day Experience, and perform their team cheer in an NHL dressing room.
